The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, also referred to as UW-Eau Claire, UWEC or simply Eau Claire, is a public liberal arts university located in Eau Claire, which is a city situated in the west-central part of the US state of Wisconsin, serving as the county seat of Eau Claire county, with a number of over 66 000 people, living within its limits, as estimated during the 2009 census estimate.
